Your Complete Airport Guide: Smooth Travel Starts here

Airport Guide

Do you need an Airport Guide? Are you planning a trip? Does that involve riding an airplane? They say, you just need to buckle up and the plane goes up in the wind! Definitely NOT! It’s not that easy. There are a lot of rules to follow and there are a lot of processes but rest assured when you follow the DO’s and DON’Ts then everything would be smooth. There is an Nth number of rules to be followed and we have chosen some of the dos and DON’Ts in the airport. 1. Do not pack sharp objects such as knives, scissors, corkscrews or knitting needles in your hand luggage. Of course, they are not allowed for safety purposes so avoid bringing them or you gotta donate them to the airport or worse, they’ll be suspicious and you’ll be up for interrogation. Well, that you don’t want since it will cause all your delays. 2. Do not make comments about carrying weapons or explosives as this may result in an objection to board the aircraft and prosecution. This is a serious issue and you don’t want to be sued for this or worse, suspect you as a terrorist! This is a BIG NO! This will cause too much panic and delays. 3. Do not overpack your bag(s) Stop bringing your whole closet. Pack wisely and lightly! Over baggage costs more money than the originally allowed baggage. You won’t enjoy carrying a lot of baggage. 4. Make sure you have the correct boarding passes and travel documents to be presented if requested at the security checkpoints and at boarding gates. This is very IMPORTANT in an Airport Guide checklist! One missing document could cost you your whole travel itinerary. Bring all the necessary documents. Make sure you have the right boarding pass and double check your names on your plane ticket and passport or any valid IDs. Make sure they all match! 5. Inform the Security Officers of your medical conditions, such as a pacemaker that might be affected by the screening process. Better to let them know before doing something else that might cause any delay or worse, harm on your health. If possible, bring necessary documents that will support your medical condition. Pregnant women, be cautious with these X-ray scanners and secure a travel permit for your doctor. 6. It is best to check-in earlier and has all the necessary travel documents ready prior to Check-In Oh yes! Better be early than late. Arriving on the dot is considered late too. Make sure especially for international passengers to be at the airport 3-4 hours early than your check-in. To avoid being late, take the most reliable airport shuttle. Instead of bringing your car and taking some time to park or drive. Book your trip in advance with Go Sedan! With GoSedan, you’re the BOSS!
